At Charter Recovery, we are committed to protecting your privacy, confidentiality, and rights as a client. We comply with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), 42 CFR Part 2, and all Nevada laws regarding counseling and treatment records.

Your treatment and records are confidential. We will not release your information without your written permission, unless required by law (such as a court order, mandatory reporting, or emergencies).

Telehealth sessions are conducted using secure, HIPAA-compliant platforms.

We collect personal and clinical information necessary to provide treatment and scheduling.

  • Payment transactions are processed securely through Square or Clover.

  • We do not store your financial account details.

  • If you are referred by the courts, probation, or an attorney, we are required to share attendance and progress reports with your referral source.

πŸ“… Attendance & Scheduling

  • Clients are expected to attend at least one session per week, unless otherwise approved.

  • Missing two consecutive weeks without notice may result in disenrollment.

  • Missed sessions must be made up within the same week to remain compliant with treatment plans and legal requirements.

πŸ’³ Payments & Refunds

  • Group Counseling: $30/session

  • Individual Counseling: $45/session

  • Anger Management: $30/session

  • Substance Use Evaluations: $100

Payments are due at the time of scheduling.

  • Prepaid sessions are refundable, except for individual sessions canceled without at least 24 hours’ notice. In those cases, payment is forfeited.

Charter Recovery provides outpatient counseling and education services only.
We are not a DMV-licensed DUI School. Our services fulfill ASAM 0.5 and level I.0 treatment requirements, but do not replace the Nevada DMV 12-hour DUI education program.

At Charter Recovery, we work closely with Nevada’s legal system to help clients meet their treatment and compliance requirements. Below are answers to frequently asked questions from referral sources.

What services does Charter Recovery provide?

  • Outpatient counseling (ASAM Levels 0.5, & I.0)

  • Individual and group counseling sessions

  • Anger management counseling

  • Substance use evaluations

  • DUI counseling (treatment-based, non-DMV)

How do you report client progress?

  • We provide monthly progress reports to attorneys, probation officers, and courts.

  • Reports include attendance, participation, and treatment status.

  • All reports are compliant with HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2.

Do you provide completion certificates?

Yes. Clients who complete their required treatment receive a Certificate of Completion. A copy can also be sent directly to their referral source.

Are your services court-approved?

Yes. Our ASAM Level programs meet Nevada court and probation requirements.
⚠️ However, Charter Recovery is not a DMV-licensed DUI School. The DMV 12-hour DUI education program must be completed separately if required.

Could you tell me how sessions are conducted?

All services are offered remotely through secure, HIPAA-compliant Zoom telehealth. This allows clients across Nevada to attend without travel while still meeting legal obligations.

  • Intake forms and referral paperwork must be completed before treatment initiation.
